Ready to drop your new track?
At P Tune Studio, we make the whole distribution process simple, smooth, and stress-free. This guide walks you through every step so you can deliver your music correctly through our dashboard and get it ready for all major platforms.
If you ever need help, our Client Management team is always there — or you can follow the guidance notes inside each dashboard section while uploading.
Before You Start
Make sure you have the following items ready:
- Audio/Track File(s)
- Album Artwork (Check our artwork requirements for correct specs)
- Spotify & Apple Music Profile Links
(Don’t have profiles yet? No worries — we’ll create them for you.) - UPC & ISRC Codes
(Missing codes? We provide them for free.)
Creating a New Release
Follow these steps to upload your track properly:
- Log into your P Tune Studio dashboard.
- From the left menu, go to Assets → Music.
- Click the blue “Create New” button on the top right.
- Upload your audio file and fill out the required information step by step.
Publishing Information
Make sure all contributors are listed with their full legal names and all shares add up to 100%.
If the system detects any missing or incorrect data, it will highlight the issue in red text.
Fix the errors, save again, and once everything is correct, you’ll see a confirmation message.
Distributing Your Release
When your release info is ready:
- Go to the Assets tab
- Select your track
- Click “Distribute”
From here, you can:
- Schedule your release
- Choose which platforms you want your music on
- Select the countries where your music will be available
Territory Options
You’ll see two choices:
- Worldwide — All countries selected automatically
- No — You can manually include or exclude specific regions
Pre-Saves & Pre-Orders (Free!)
P Tune Studio gives you free pre-save and pre-order tools.
Use a Spotify pre-save to build hype before the track drops — perfect for social media promos.
After you confirm everything, your release goes through a pre-delivery check by our Client Management team.
Your First Release With P Tune Studio
For your very first release, we recommend allowing 2 weeks for the track to go live.
This gives us time to:
- Set up your artist profiles correctly
- Ensure royalties are routed properly
- Avoid delays on your next releases
After your first drop, you can choose either:
- As Soon As Possible
- A Specific Release Date
Want Your Track on More Platforms Later?
No problem.
Once your release is created, the assets page will show where your track has already been delivered. You’ll also see a button that lets you add more platforms anytime.
What Happens After Submission?
Here’s the flow:
- Your track goes to our Operations Team for approval
- Once approved, we deliver it to all selected DSPs
- Most releases get approved immediately
- In rare cases, if something needs fixing, we’ll guide you on exactly what to update
Once approved — your music is officially on its way to listeners worldwide!
