When you drop a track through P Tune Studio, one of the most important things is making sure it goes to the right artist profile on Spotify and Apple Music. No one wants their release ending up under someone else’s name — that’s messy for you, your fans, and your whole catalog.
This guide will walk you through how to properly add your Artist Profile IDs so every release goes exactly where it should.
Why Artist Profile IDs Matter
If your songs are already live on Spotify or Apple Music, you already have an official artist profile. By submitting your correct Artist ID during your release upload, P Tune Studio ensures your music gets delivered to the right place without confusion or delays.
Where to Add Artist Profile IDs in the P Tune Studio Dashboard
1. Adding IDs to Your Account (Artists & Labels)
If you’re an artist (or a label managing multiple artists), you can save each artist’s profile ID inside the dashboard:
Dashboard → Catalog → Contributors → Artists → Select Artist → Edit Profile → Artist Profile IDs
Scroll until you see the section for adding Spotify and Apple Music IDs — paste your IDs there.
Where to Add IDs When Uploading a New Release
While uploading a new release:
Step 01 – Main Info
You’ll see an Artists section.
At the end of each artist’s URL field, paste the corresponding Spotify or Apple ID.
This helps the system match your release with your existing official pages instantly.
How to Find Your Spotify or Apple Music Artist ID
Finding your ID is super simple:
For Spotify
- Open Spotify on your browser.
- Search your artist name.
- Open your official artist page.
- Copy the last part of the URL — that’s your Spotify Artist ID.

Your ID = 22bE4uQ6baNwSHPVcDxLCe
For Apple Music / iTunes
- Open Apple Music on your browser.
- Search and open your artist page.
- The final numbers in the URL are your Apple Artist ID.
Example: https://music.apple.com/us/artist/the-rolling-stones/**1249595**
Your ID = 1249595
Important (Please Read Carefully!)
- The Artist ID must match the exact artist name you’re using in your release.
- Spelling must be identical, including capital letters. (Yes, it’s case-sensitive.)
- Wrong IDs can delay your release.
- Repeated mismatches may lead to account suspension, because DSPs treat identity issues very seriously.
